About Project Meow

Where our paws firmly stand

Supporting our feline friends & community

Our Mission

Project Meow exists to reduce cat overpopulation through prevention, education and community support across the City of Greater Geelong.

We believe every cat deserves the opportunity to live a safe, healthy and valued life.

By helping prevent unplanned litters and supporting responsible pet ownership, we're working towards a future where fewer cats and kittens experience preventable suffering.

What We Believe

🧡 We believe every cat matters.

🧡 We believe prevention saves lives.

🧡 We believe caring for animals is a shared responsibility.

🧡 We believe communities can create lasting change.

🧡 We don't believe in blame.

🧡 We believe in better outcomes for cats.

How We Create Change

Project Meow creates change by focusing on practical, compassionate solutions.

Through desexing, education and community partnerships, we're helping reduce cat overpopulation while supporting better outcomes for cats and kittens across the City of Greater Geelong.

Every conversation, every desexing appointment, every fundraiser and every volunteer contributes to a kinder future for cats in our community.

Powered by Community

Project Meow is proudly volunteer run.

Everything we achieve is made possible through the generosity of our supporters, grant providers, community partners and volunteers who share our vision of creating better beginnings, better futures and better outcomes for cats and kittens.

Our work has also been supported through grants from government, philanthropic and community funding partners who have invested in our programs and our vision for better outcomes for cats and kittens across the City of Greater Geelong.

With thanks to our funding partners

Passionate about cats

People of Project Meow

Project Meow is more than an organisation. It's a community of people who give their time, skills, experience and support to help create better outcomes for cats and kittens across Geelong.

Why We Exist

🧡 Too many cats.

🧡 Too many kittens.

🧡 Not enough homes.

We believe prevention is the kindest solution.

That's why we're here.
