OUR SIMPLE CRITERIA
- You must live within the City of Greater Geelong
- You must be the owner of the cat/s & intend to keep them.
- The cat/s must be of breeding age.
- You will need to provide photo ID with your address.
- We may ask for your CRN number, pension card, student card for funded applications.
- You do need to fill out a form online for each cat – see below.

Need Help Desexing Your Cat?
We offer low-cost and free cat desexing for people & their cats living in the City of Greater Geelong.
How this works – Fill in this one form – EACH CAT NEEDS THEIR OWN FORM COMPLETED
Choose an option that suits you. We’ll text you within 3–7 days with available dates.
When a fee applies, we’ll send you a secure payment link once an appointment is offered & confirmed. Fees are payable the day before surgery.
Clinic appointments are held at our partner vet clinic Aberdeen Veterinary – 174 Aberdeen Street, Geelong West.
CLINIC OPTION ONE – Low-Cost Desexing – Always available.
CLINIC OPTION TWO – Partial Assistance – We help reduce the cost.
KITTEN CLUB – Reserved for Kitten Club Mums / high risk felines
Our Kitten Nursery cares for mums with kittens and kittens alone to help ensure their safety and desexing is addressed before more breeding occurs. Help, support and gentle intervention for entire litters. Kittens are placed on safe paths that see them desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, parasite treated — and rehomed safely. Mum (and Dad if needed) are desexed for free. This is how we stop many cycles at once.
DESEXING EVENTS – Invites are sent to cats on our waitlist – ONLY when events are scheduled! These events are held with The Vet Project at locations around Geelong.
